Apartment Eviction

Apartment eviction is the process by which the landlord can forcefully remove tenants from an apartment. In order for landlords to remove tenants in this manner, they must follow the procedures as outlined by landlord tenant law. In fact, landlords that choose not to comply with the legal eviction process can set themselves up for legal trouble ヨ sending threats, changing locks, or shutting off power as a way to get rid of tenants is completely illegal. The legal apartment eviction process follows the same procedures as other types of evictions. To begin, landlords must identify a violation and then provide tenants with the corresponding eviction notice. Eviction notices should name the parties, the original lease, the reason for eviction, and the period of notice. After the period of notice has elapsed, the apartment eviction can be filed in court.
