Apartment Lease Agreements
Apartment lease agreements are rental contracts designed specifically for renting apartments. Apartment lease agreements may differ from lease agreements used to rent single family homes; the lease agreements may have different and/or additional provisions. Rules regarding the use of common areas in and around the apartment may be outlined in the lease agreement, such as the rules for use of shared laundry facilities, and recreational areas such as playgrounds and fitness centers. If the apartment has a pool, the lease may also outline the rules and regulations regarding pool use, such as the hours the pool is available for use, and the rules concerning child supervision and alcohol use in the pool area. Apartment lease agreements may also specify where a tenant is allowed to park his or her car; in some cases, a specific parking space will be issued to the tenant. Apartment lease agreements can be used to rent an entire apartment, and in some cases may be used to rent just one room in a shared apartment.
