Eviction Letters
Eviction letters are a form of notice that are provided to tenants as part of the eviction process. As an obligation before filing a case with the court, landlords must provide notice to the tenant of the ongoing eviction taking place. Eviction letters, which are usually written and then delivered to the tenant, fulfill this step of the eviction process. The eviction letter must include the tenants name, the period of notice, and the violation that has occurred, formatted according to guidelines of a standard letter. Writing the eviction letter is a significant portion of the process, but being too worried about the letter itself can be detrimental. Time is of the essence in order to properly issue the notice. Depending on the type of violation that has occurred, you will need to deliver either a 3 day or 30 day notice.
