Landlord Tenant Lease

The landlord tenant lease, sometimes referred to more generally as a lease, is a practice through which a landlord agrees to grant a tenant with temporary use of property. The practice of leasing in general can apply to a variety of rentals such as cars, equipment, or other items, but the landlord tenant lease refers only to a lease between landlord and tenant. The landlord tenant lease also consists of an enforceable agreement, or lease contract, in which the the two parties negotiate and consent to terms of the lease. The contract of the lease names the two parties involved, identifies the property, specifies the duration of the leases, and spells out any other policies of use. After being signed, both parties are legally liable to uphold all terms of the lease. The landlord tenant lease may apply to apartment rentals, home rentals, or even commercial rentals that are exercised between landlord and tenant.
