Rental Lease Agreement Form
A rental lease agreement form is a document signed by both a landlord and a tenant or multiple tenants. The form outlines the conditions of a rental lease. It is a legal contract that states how long the tenant will be renting the property, the amount of rent to be paid and when it should be paid, and may outline certain conditions that the tenant must adhere to. Rental lease agreement forms may specify rules either allowing or disallowing pets; other conditions may include restrictions against painting, wallpapering, carpeting, or making other cosmetic changes to the property. A security deposit payment and/or upfront payment of first and last month's rent may be required when signing a rental lease agreement form. Signing a rental lease agreement form means that the tenant is responsible for keeping up with the conditions of the lease, and financial penalties may occur if the terms of the lease are broken.
