Sublease Sample

When preparing to enter into a sublease agreement, a sublease sample agreement may be obtained in advance, so that both the sublessor and the sublessee can review the terms of the agreement and decide whether to go forth with the sublease. Apartment complexes, student housing units, and other property management companies as well as individual landlords often provide tenants with a sublease sample for review. A sample agreement is usually not signed, and is offered as an example to provide tenants with information regarding the terms of a potential sublease. A sublease sample may also be available to view on a rental company's website. Other websites may offer sample subleases to download and print, either for free or for a one time fee. A sublease sample agreement can also be used as a template to create a particular sublease; the sample is a standard form and can be altered and amended to add or remove provisions.
